Metal Structure (1000x)

Drill Tip (25x)
We polished various materials with a tool under development and made an assessment by comparing the abrasions on the tool and the abrasions on the material. Observation using an optical microscope required removing the tool and the material from a machine tool and mounting the samples on a microscope stage. That process was a significantly time-consuming task.

In addition, observation using an optical microscope with a shallow depth of field required changing focus and imagining a real shape in your mind. This prevented quick analysis. Because so much time was required for evaluation, taking enough time to develop and improve our products was difficult. We were always afraid that some serious problem would delay the release of a new product. Delaying the release of a new product could lead to yielding the right-of-way to our competitors.

The VHX series can observe a material and a tool by holding a lens with your hands without removing the items from the machine tool. Also, it allows observation of a tool with projections and depressions from top to bottom by viewing a tight-focused image. The VHX series significantly reduced the time required for analysis.

Now the development task is well ahead of schedule, thanks to accurate and quick observation and analysis. We consider our products to have become more competitive than ever. Above all, we are happy that we don't have to worry about lagging behind schedule.

No Preprocessing Required   Divided Screen for Comparsion
Only requires aiming the lens onto a subject, dramatically reducing the time required for setup. Imagine that you are conducting the observation work shown here using an optical microscope. Viewing options include vertical split, horizontal split, and 4-way split screens. This is useful for comparison for pass/fail status.
