Digital Microscope

Optical Microscope

Unlike with optical microscopes, with KEYENCE's digital microscope the target does not always need to be placed on the stage. You can observe the target simply by pointing the lens toward the target point, so even a large target can be observed quickly, and just the way it is. The digital microscope makes possible quick and accurate analyses and observations, helping provide early solutions to problems. It eliminates the need for disassembling, cutting or processing the target, enabling you to observe secular changes at the same point.       With optical microscopes, the target must be disassembled or cut before it is set on the stage.

Advantages of the digital microscope

Targets do not need to be disassembled, cut or processed
  - Speedy: whatever the target, it can be observed quickly, and just the way it is.

Camera with built-in illumination, and portable controller

An illumination head is incorporated into the controller, and light is emitted from the camera via optical fiber. Because the controller is portable, it can be used for fieldwork outside laboratories or analyzing rooms.
