Microscope Learning Guides

Click on any of the interactive guides below to get a better understand of some standard digital microscope features and functions.

3D Display Function (D.F.D. Method)

The 3D display function precisely represents the height at each point on the target. You can freely rotate 3D images on the screen, and therefore observe the target's three-dimensional structure, which cannot be seen with conventional microscopes. The VHX-1000 comes standard with a 3-D display function. The "D.F.D. method" * realizes simple operation without the use of electric motors.

High-quality Depth Composition

Composing sharp Images with superior Depth-of-field. An image of the desired area with poor focus can be composed automatically by simply turning the focus-adjustment knob while observing the real-time image on the screen. As a result, the time and labor required for composing images can be reduced dramatically. In addition, KEYENCE s original image-processing technology enables high-speed display of large images (UXGA).

54 Megapixel 3CCD Camera with Built-in Actuator

The newly introduced, ultra-high definition handheld camera achieves a maximum definition of 54 million pixels using the 3CCD multi-scan method with a built-in actuator, and its compact design enables handheld observation. See the difference below.

Multi-viewer System for Observation from Any Angle

In addition to observation in the X, Y, and Z directions, the camera can be tilted at any angle and the stage can be rotated by 360º. Moreover, this stand is designed not to let the target go out of the field of view even when the lens is tilted or the stage is rotated. Consequently, targets can easily be observed from multiple angles without any complicated adjustment.

Light Angle Effect (Lighting Shift Function)

One button control for enhancing projections and depressions. Choose between Full Illumination Mode and Partial Illumination Mode. Follow the demonstration below a try to see the difference.

Light Angle Effect (e-Preview Mode)

One button operation to select the image mode for optimal observation. See the difference between the four available modes below.
