Digital microscopes: the new standard

Digital microscopes allow users to correctly observe objects
by freely adjusting the magnifying power. These instruments are becoming
the new standard for enlarged observation and recording systems.

Color CCD camera
The density of the pixels has been increasing for higher
resolution.
The pixel-shift technology has achieved as much as 54
million pixels.
The pen-shaped camera is designed for ease of use
during observation.

Built-in illumination
The camera includes illumination which is applied
directly from the lens position. It is intended to ensure
ideal illumination all the time as well as eliminate
illumination setting.

Zoom lens
Various zoom lenses are available to ensure
continuously variable magnification from low
to high.
Selecting the best field of view with desired
magnification allows efficient observation.

Five-axis stand
In addition to the observation in the X, Y, and Z directions, the camera can be tilted at any angle and the stage can be rotated by 360. Moreover, this stand is designed not to let the target go out of the field of view even when the lens is tilted or the stage is rotated. Consequently, targets can easily be observed from any angles without any complicated adjustment. There are many cases where operating confort enabled the discovery of defectives and features which had been overlooked. Five-axis stand image

LCD monitor
The controller is equipped with a 15-inch, high-resolution LCD monitor with 1600 x 1200 pixels.
The viewing angle of 170 ensures clear images even seen from an angled position.
This allows several people to monitor and discuss the images simultaneously.

Hard disk drive
The image data can be saved in the hard disk drive built into the controller.
160GB(includeing 45GB reservation area),approx.575,000 images(When a 2 million-pixel image is compressed)to approx.19,000 images.
(When a 2 million-pixel image is not compressed)

PC link / networking ports
The controller has a LAN port supporting
100 baseTX, which allows the connection to the
LAN network, so that images can be monitored
with any PC in the network.
It is also possible to connect the controller to a
PC via USB2.0 port to transmit image data with
special software.

Measurement
The controller features various image measurement
functions which can be used to measure the
dimensions of the captured images.
The measurement result can be saved in CSV format
to compile statistics with spreadsheet software.
