The KEYENCE RZ Lens series represents the pinnacle of zoom lens design. These lenses feature a 10x zoom range, high telecentricity and resolution, and can be easily interchanged by using a quick connect/disconnect mount. Each lens also has integrated lighting and features click-style magnification adjustments, allowing users to precisely select a given magnification while eliminating calibration issues.
Highest Resolution in the Industry Approx. 2x Conventional Lenses
These lenses have achieved the highest resolution in their class by bringing together the know-how acquired during long-term microscope development and the essence of KEYENCE’s optical technology. They complement the abilities of the microscope offering higher-quality CCD images.
By using advanced optical theory and special optical materials, the RZ lens delivers a high resolution with up to 0.82 numerical aperture and 4.4 mm of working distance.
Wide Range 10x Optical Zoom
The RZ lenses cover a wide zoom range from 0.1x to 5000x magnification, each with a 10x optical zoom range. To achieve a 10x optical zoom, highly skilled assembly techniques are required to eliminate the tiniest amount of error in the zoom mechanism. The wide range design of the RZ lens allows for seamless viewing of targets from macro-view to micro-view. These lenses also maintain a fixed working distance throughout the entire zoom range, making them much easier to operate.
Highly-telecentric zoom lens
With a highly-telecentric lens design, the RZ lens can create extremely clear and perfect depth composition and 3D images. The RZ lens can make the best use of the digital focus functions that are an essential feature of the VHX Digital Microscope Series.
